This is a handrail made of cooper and cedar that I finished this week. This customer wanted the handrail for the steps to match an existing deck on te back of the house. I decided to make a few changes like recessing the bolts and covering them with wooden dowels. I used dowels that are a bit lighter to create an accent to the hand rails, and they look much better than exposed bolt heads. A retaining wall had to be built so the steps could be 30 inches wide and keep water run off from washing the gravel away. As you can see, the steps and retaining wall are left bare for 30 days prior to stain being applied to allow the wood to dry so that it can better accept the stain.

This is a floor that I completed last week. My customers brought me an image from the internet, I put them in touch with the tile supplier I have used for years to help the customer decide on a tile. The Customers chose an Italian tile and wanted to use granite for the accents. I cut and polished the granite to 2″x2″ squares, cut the tiles so that the granite would recess into the tile producing a beautiful effect that will last for years to come. I Laid the tile on a forty-five degree angle per the customers request which also gave this remodel a unique look.

This is a remodel of a laundry room that was damaged by water and mold. The drywall was upgraded with a knockdown texture and new subfloor, framing and insulation were installed to replace the materials that were affected by mold. New baseboard trim and floor coverings were installed and finished it off with a fresh coat of paint.
The warm beautiful days of spring are upon us, and what better way to spend those days with friends and family. In effect you can have a covered patio and a deck by simply by building a drained deck. Here are some examples of the construction and finished job that can be possible by using a drained deck.

The CFL will use less electricity and they don’t give off that funky yellow light. associated with 4ft fluorescents. While we do a lot of residential work, we are also licensed for commercial work as well. Have you been thinking of changing the lights in your office? If so, give us a call or email today.

This is a bathroom remodel we did in 2007. We constructed this 9′x3′ tile shower with side lights, three shower heads, and a sliding glass door. We installed a window for an improvement on the lighting situation. Installed all new cabinets with our custom-made cabinet tops. We installed a new tile floor and a knockdown texture to the walls. This customer also wanted a claw foot tub that we ordered and installed. Remodels like this one really let us show off what is possible with a normal bathroom being turned into an extraordinary place that you can enjoy for years to come.

This ceiling fan install was on a 20 feet high ceiling. While we were up there, we replaced the lightbulbs in the existing accent lighting for the homeowner. This ceiling fan made a great improvement for years to come, and will move the warm air that collects in the high ceiling down the floor level of the room.
